ALL Ozone Generators contain sensitive materials and each produces a volatile electric reaction to create ozone. Due to the nature of this reaction ALL Ozone Generators need to be maintained & serviced.

With thousands of customers and years of experience we know how to keep your MaxBlaster running and we give you the parts and service most companies don't even mention.

Maintenance

The most important factor in maintaining your MaxBlaster is HOW YOU STORE your ozone generator.

Humidity is the #1 killer of ozone generators.... even if you use it only once or twice a year.

Excess moisture & humidity can react with the sensitive plates inside the unit causing it to lose efficiency and/or discontinue working all together.

So here is what we recommend...

1 Store your MaxBlaster indoors, in a temperature controlled environment with low humidity.

2 Store your MaxBlaster inside the original box or case with desiccant bags*.

*desiccant bags are the 'dry' bags found inside merchandise during shipping which pulls humidity off.

3 Clean the white foam filter on the inlet end of your MaxBlaster as often as it appears dirty.

That's about it for maintenance... if you store your ozone generator properly and keep it away from excess humidity at all costs it should run for thousands of hours before Service is required.


Service

We are one of the ONLY ozone generator companies in the USA that has a complete, comprehensive service department. While most companies tell YOU how to fix the machines yourself (because they don't want to have to manage the problems themselves) we offer our customers a better solution.

The most common service requirement is a replacement generator pack. The generator pack is the stack of plates and stainless steel that create ozone from oxygen via a high voltage electric charge.

ALL OZONE GENERATORS REQUIRE REPLACEMENT OF THIS ELEMENT OVER TIME.
So make sure you know how to change the generator pack before you buy from anyone!

How will you know it is time to replace the generator pack?

In most cases, the unit will turn on and you will hear the fan running but you won't notice the scent of ozone. OR, you can look into the outlet end of our machine to see if the generator pack is still glowing purple with electricity.

When this happens, it is time for service. This can happen anywhere from 6 months* after you buy to 3 years after you buy depending on many factors.

*If it happens within the first year it is covered under our warranty at no cost to you.

When it is time for service you have 2 options...

1 Complete our Comprehensive Service Program

2 Purchase parts direct from MaxBlasterUSA and install them yourself*

*this option is ONLY for those who are confident they can complete some basic wiring instructions. Please call us for details if you prefer this option. Generator Packs cost about $50.

Each MaxBlaster we sell comes with a Service & Warranty form. If you need us to repair your MaxBlaster simply follow the instructions on the form, fill out the form, and ship the unit back to us.

Our Comprehensive Service Program costs a flate rate of $125 and includes the following...

Replacement Generator Pack (most often needed)
Replacement Transformer if necessary (very rarely needed)
Replacement Fan if necessary (very rarely needed)
Complete Cleaning of All Components
Cosmetic Refurbishment (new handle, shell casing, etc if necessary)
New Filters and End Pieces
Wiring Inspection

Our Comprehensive Service Program also includes...

Upgrade to Current Standards

Over time we make gradual improvements to the design of our MaxBlaster. If you bought a machine in 2007 and send it in for Comprehensive Service in 2011 we will bring it to the 2011 design standards. This way you are assured of getting back a unit that is in current up-to-date standing.

The overall goal of our CSR Program is to bring your unit back to brand-new condition... as often as you wish for as many years as you own your MaxBlaster.

Experience tells us that about 10% of the MaxBlasters we sell need service within the first 2 years. We recommend to everyone that they have their machine sent in at least every couple years so we can bring it up to current standards and back to brand-new condition.

Warranty Policy

We expect our MaxBlaster to run for at least a year before the service mentioned above is necessary.

1-Year Unlimited Warranty: If your MaxBlaster needs service within the first year we pay for it.

5-Year Limited Warranty: Transformer and Fan are covered for 5 years.
