Instead of using a set of 2 or 3 standard, replaceable mica plates that contain a small amount of wire screen within a thin, fragile mica 'plate' our generator pack is unlike any other on the market today.
We use 7 industrial-grade (thick) mica squares that house a large amount of stainless-steel mesh between each plate. Seperating the plates & screen are 14 commercial strength ozone 'bars' that are so solid they can literally be thrown against a wall without breaking.
The entire assembly is then compressed together in a rigid PVC structure that protects the generator pack against damage and allows it to be used on a commercial basis, day-to-day, as any power tool should be.
So when other companies claim that mica is fragile and will break... ask them why we have not had a single customer call us in the last year with such a complaint.
And when they complain that there's no way to open & clean & replace the plates yourself remind them... designing an ozone generator to be opened, cleaned, and repaired by the customer is what makes it fragile and inferior to begin with!
