Run times for the MaxBlaster can be as short as an hour for a small space like a car... or multiple 24 hour treatments for a bigger home with a bad odor or mold problem.
Each MaxBlaster ozone generator comes with an owner's manual and time-chart guide... but most projects require a little trial and error on your end to get exactly right.
The idea is to fill an entire space with a high enough concentration of ozone to oxidize the VOC's... so the heavier the odor and larger the space... the longer the run time will need to be.
The MaxBlaster is a SHOCK ozone generator. This means it produces far more ozone than the EPA considers safe to breathe. But it's also the amount you need if you want to kill an odor or mold instead of just masking the odors like low-output ozone generators do.
Our output rating is 12000mg... however there isn't an industry standard testing measurement so it's hard to compare two different companies machines.
What you need to know is our machine is strong. When you turn it on within seconds you notice an overwhelming presence of ozone. Within minutes you notice it throughout your house. And within hours it's enough to complete entire home SHOCK ozone treatment.
It is NOT safe to breathe too much ozone. The EPA tells us that.
But it is safe to use a high-ouput ozone generator if you follow some basic procedures. This includes running the machine only when the space is un-occupied.
To turn it on/off you can either program it automatically with a plug-in wall timer... or by quickly entering/re-entering the space with limited breathing. For each type of application there are simple methods to follow that will keep you safe.
Each MaxBlaster is built in our warehouse in Avon Lake, Ohio.
The first MaxBlasters were built in the basement of our founder... until demand grew so that we needed a larger facility. Our production line has continued to grow, improving all the time to increase production capabilities and improve quality standards.
The 12th Edition MaxBlaster is our latest and greatest... a refined, powerful machine built to last.
The MaxBlaster in effect can last forever. The major components are warrantied for 5 years. And the only component that needs replaced (generator pack) can now be easily purchased and installed on your own.
In addition, our Comprehensive Service Department will return your used MaxBlaster into new condition each year or as often as you prefer for a nominal fee.
Our recommendations... replace the generator pack every other year while sending it in for a Comprehensive Service every two years.
This will give you a machine running like new for as long as you own it.
There is little regular maintenance needed on the machine other than to store it dry and in low humidity conditions. We even give you a free fitted dry box with a desiccant to help.
The generator pack (compact stack of plates and stainless steel) needs replacing over time. Our history shows this can be anywhere from 6-36 months... and the better you store it the longer.
To replace the generator pack you can either purchase one from our e-store and install it with our easy instructions... or you can send it to us to replace for you.

How will you know if your MaxBlaster is not working? The machine will either not turn on at all OR it will turn on and you'll hear the fan running... but you won't smell any ozone.
Don't worry... these are both easy to fix. You can either purchase replacement parts from our e-store or send your ozone generator to us for service. Remember we have a 5 year warranty on most parts and an easy replacement plan for your generator pack.

One new ozone generator seller makes a big deal about how strong his fan is inside his unit and how poor every other machines are... including ours. The truth is... this guy used to purchase from us until we banned him for poor ethics and he's now selling our design with a bigger fan.... which is bad science.
You don't want a big fan inside your ozone generator that gets too hot and drains too much power!
You want a moderate fan to cool the transformer and pass only consistent oxygen across the generator pack. And instead... you want fans OUTSIDE the generator and inside the room to disperse the heavy gas.
Yes, ozone is heavy and it needs help being equally distributed throughout a room... which is why the we recommend leaving the central air system on or fans throughout the room to move the air.
A huge fan inside your ozone generator... no way. Wait till you need to send it in to that guy for service.

Competitors love to challenge the durability of mica plates by making exaggerated claims against their use in ozone generators. They say they break, flake, and fall apart during use.
While typical mica plates can be sensitive our mica is custom cut at double the thickness of average ozone generators. In addition the unique method we use to seal all 7 plates together in a solid housing gives the MaxBlaster ozone generator additional strength and durablity for commercial use. Most other ozone generators simply don't have our combination of output and durablity.
We use our machines ourselves in our own service business... so we know how tough they need to be. The mica plate assembly we use is different than the competitors... solid and compact for every day use.

In order to convert oxygen to ozone you need a lot of electricity charging throughout the power cell inside the ozone generator. Our transformer, specifically made for use in harsh electrical and environmental demands imposed by continuous-duty, corona-discharge, ozone-generation allows us to produce extreme amounts of ozone.
With a 5 year warranty our transformer is the heart of our machine.

Yes... we have a 5 year warranty on all components excluding the generator pack.
Orders usually ship in 2-7 business days. However sometimes it can take up to 14 days during busier months. It takes between 1 and 4 days to arrive after shipping. International orders take longer to arrive.
You can pay extra for express shipping and we'll get it to you in as little as a day. Please call us for details before you order if you need express delivery.
In the summer we are a little busier so shipping times may vary. In the colder winter months shipping is usually within a day or two.
Each order is processed manually by Greg (owner/operator) or our office manager Sarah. We do not share your information with anyone. We use EMS (Electronic Merchant Systems) to process our credit cards.
